We are a passionate, purpose-driven team committed to empower youths and teens in nurturing emotional intelligence and championing environmental stewardship. Each member brings a unique story, a deep sense of calling and shared belief in the power of mentorship, creativity and community transformation. Together we dream boldly, serve humbly and walk alongside young people from across Kenya . As they discover their voice, their worth and their role in shaping a more compassionate world. we are not just a team— we are a movement.

With Collaborations, Impact Happens.

Our projects are woven from three threads: People, Planet, and Prosperity. By balancing these, we turn the dream of sustainable development into a living reality for Africa.

What We Do

We work on projects that implement nature-based solutions to bring about impactful improvements to address climate change, promote environmental restoration, promote sustainable policy advocacy, de-carbonization, scale youth movement building, increase communities climate resilience and drive green investments in the African market.

Clean Ups

We organize community clean-ups twice a year, mobilizing youth and partners to restore cleanliness in forests, rivers, lakes, oceans, and public spaces such as markets. Through these efforts, we reduce pollution, protect ecosystems, and inspire communities to embrace responsible waste management for a healthier, sustainable environment.

Tree Growing

Our Tree Growing Drive is at the heart of our environmental action. We mobilize young people and communities to plant trees in schools, institutions, hills, and forests. By restoring degraded areas and protecting biodiversity, we not only fight climate change but also create greener, healthier spaces for learning, living, and future generations.

Mentorship program

Our Mentorship Program focuses on guiding boys to become responsible, respectful, and value-driven young men who protect and support girls rather than harm them. Through life skills, leadership training, and positive role modeling, we empower youth to make better choices, resist harmful influences, and grow into leaders who create safer and stronger communities.

Emotional Intelligence

We teach young people the power of emotional intelligence understanding and managing their emotions while respecting the feelings of others. Through mentorship and training, we equip youth with empathy, self-control and resilience, helping them build stronger relationships, make wise decisions, and become compassionate leaders in their communities.

Our Campaigns

MMYI's key projects include the Fruit Trees for Schools initiative, which greens schools with fruit and indigenous trees while promoting students fruit-nutrition, psycho-social wellbeing, environmental tranquility and education through eco-clubs. Our Fruit Orchards program supports agro-forestry and fruit social enterprise among rural farmers. Water Funds focuses on source water protection in catchments through collaborations. A climate accelerator program and movement-building network for emerging young climate leaders. Additionally, we engage in Decarbonization projects in clean energy, ESG and green investment portfolios management for ventures looking to access the African market.
